RAGE fails to launch (European versions only)

A number of people who have downloaded the game from the AppStore in Europe are experiencing a failure to launch.
This can be bypassed by changing your language to English.
Go to System Preferences > Language & Text - ensure that English is the uppermost Language on the Language Tab
We will continue looking into a permanent fix, but this will get you up and running until we can patch.

This is no solution. I'm not going to change the syslang and with that the language of work apps I use and reboot just to be able to play a game with a stupid bug that wouldn't be there if you'd know how to test decently;)
In reply to my tweet you did and I was under the impression I paid to be able to play the game when I want to;)
All I can say is that we are working on a permanent solution.
Jason - I tried this temporary fix - have moved 'English' to the top of the list - also changed my region to United States - still won't install - any other suggestions?

What the CHA~??? It's not affecting JUST copies off the European AppStore yo! Just coz a couple poms reported it first... have you guys tried putting Australian/British English on your own copies from the "US AppStore"? You just might get the same effect. I sure am here in Thailand. As far as I'm concerned there ~is~ no difference between American/European/Asian copies -- or is there? Or does the Asian version happen to be THE European version (that would explain all the bandits with foul-mouth British/Aussie accents... I'd hate to imagine if they were New Yorkers instead though).
The topic here is misleading. It's NOT the European versions only. This will just further confuse people having this problem lets see... everywhere else in the world.
...or at least confirm that this does NOT indeed affect versions bought from the US AppStore? THAT would be interesting indeed!
Just download the game (i am from France) and i can't install it !!! The problem is not fixed yet!! and the temporary fix didn't work for me, unfortunately !!
Lost 20$...
