Star Wars™: Knights of the Old Republic™ is crashing on iPad Pro 12.9” running iOS 12.

Our team has pinpointed a crash at launch on the iPad Pro 12.9” model.  We’re addressing the issue in an upcoming patch.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll down to Display & Brightness.
  3. Under Display Zoom, tap View. You’ll now have the option to choose between Standard and Zoomed.
  4. Choose Zoomed.
  5. The game should no longer crash.

Thank you to the Community for reporting this workaround!

Black bars are appearing on either side of the game window.

We’ve isolated this to iPhone X models and the 2018 iPad Pros. We're investigating the cause, and we will keep this article updated with the latest news.

The play screen is hard to navigate

You can move your character with your hand gestures from nearly anywhere on the screen. We position our hand to the far left or right of the screen for the best gameplay experience.

There’s no sound in the game!

Please check that the mute button hasn't been accidentally been switched on. If you’re not sure where the mute button is located on your device, take a look at this article.

For newer iOS devices without a switch, Mute is controlled via Control Center (swipe up from the bottom edge of the iPad). If the Bell image is Blue, then you’re device is on Mute.
