My MAC has two video chipsets and I'm running into problems....HELP!

This is just a brief article to help you know more about how to switch video cards if you have a MacBook Pro with the dual video card combo. Switching graphics cards can often help with performance issues when using the less powerful Intel HD chipset.

It’s a pretty simple process:

Go into System Preferences>Energy Saver> and find the option for Automatic graphic switching.

Uncheck that box so the option for Automatic Graphic Switching is turned off.

This will enable your dedicated video card (Nvidia or ATI card).

Along with performance issues, you might run into misaligned mouse problems and this should fix it up for you.
