    •    CPU Processor: Intel Core i5 (4 cores)

Q: Why doesn't the App Store version have a multiplayer option?

A: Since Apple removed functionality of their Game Center app, there's no way to build in multiplayer functionality for the App Store version.  The Steam version has it already built from the PC release of Civ 6 (from where the Mac version is ported).

However, you still have access to Hot Seat and LAN multiplayer options.

Q: Where's the Aztecs DLC that I've been hearing about?

A: The Aztecs DLC was only available as a pre-order bonus for the Steam version so you can't get it until after 90 days when it's released to the rest of the world (around late January 2017).

Q: Why aren’t retina display resolutions available in the Graphics Options?

A: Retina resolution support is not yet available for Civilization VI but we're looking into updating the game to add them.  Double check that you have your System Preferences/Displays option is set to More Space to enable higher resolutions in game.

Q: HELP! I can't select a Great Person from the Great People screen...WHAT DO I DO?!

A: There's a small unsuspecting bar at the bottom of the screen that you'll need to move to view all available Great People.

Q: Why is the audio is only coming through in Chinese, regardless of the language setting I have the game on?
A: This is a result of running the game on a case-sensitive formatted hard drive which isn’t supported for any of our games.  We recommend partitioning your hard drive and reformatting that partition to the OSX standard Journaled HFS+ using your Disk Utility app and installing the game there.

    MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)
    2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
    8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
This is my system so why does the gam play fine to a certain point then start to crash constantly thus not allowing me to finish a game?

Sorry for any confusion or inconvenience, Cindy. Neither the 650M nor the Intel HD 4000 are supported as noted in the product description and the top of this KB. Continuing to play on your Mac is going to result in more instability issues.
Depending on where you purchased it, you can request a refund.

Hey, Azur! Civilization VI requires a minimum of 1GB of VRAM so your video card isn't supported.
You can hit up Steam or the App Store for a refund, depending on where you bought it:

Hey, Bartek. App Store and Steam versions are not exchangeable. You'd have to request a refund from the App Store and re-order the game from Steam. https://support.aspyr.com/hc/en-us/articles/203396004-Confusion-about-AppStore-vs-Steam-versions-

Downloaded Civ 6 from the App Store 11/19/16. I can't find the saved games on my Mac running OS X 10.11.6. I can't locate any Civ 6 or Sid Meier or Aspyr files in my Library/Application Support/ folder. Anyone? What am I overlooking?

Hey, Matthew! For the App Store version, saves are stored in User/Library/Containers/com.aspyr.civ6.appstore/Data/Library/Application Support/Sid Meier's Civilization VI.

OSX 10.7 and up now hide this directory, so please press cmd+shift+G to bring up a search window in Finder and type in '~/library' to access this directory.

Will graphics support come near in the future ?
