Q: Why doesn't the App Store version have a multiplayer option?
A: Since Apple removed functionality of their Game Center app, there's no way to build in multiplayer functionality for the App Store version. The Steam version has it already built from the PC release of Civ 6 (from where the Mac version is ported).
However, you still have access to Hot Seat and LAN multiplayer options.
Q: Where's the Aztecs DLC that I've been hearing about?
A: The Aztecs DLC was only available as a pre-order bonus for the Steam version so you can't get it until after 90 days when it's released to the rest of the world (around late January 2017).
Q: Why aren’t retina display resolutions available in the Graphics Options?
A: Retina resolution support is not yet available for Civilization VI but we're looking into updating the game to add them. Double check that you have your System Preferences/Displays option is set to More Space to enable higher resolutions in game.
Q: HELP! I can't select a Great Person from the Great People screen...WHAT DO I DO?!
A: There's a small unsuspecting bar at the bottom of the screen that you'll need to move to view all available Great People.
Q: Why is the audio is only coming through in Chinese, regardless of the language setting I have the game on?
A: This is a result of running the game on a case-sensitive formatted hard drive which isn’t supported for any of our games. We recommend partitioning your hard drive and reformatting that partition to the OSX standard Journaled HFS+ using your Disk Utility app and installing the game there.
