Freezing? Crashing? Controller not Working?! Try these Mac specific tips first to get you back in the game in no time!
- Run First Aid on your Hard Drive (if you have not done so already). To do this, go to Applications/Utilities and open the Disk Utility app. Select your Hard Drive, then First Aid from the top of the menu. Once that finishes, restart your Mac.
STEAM GAMES ONLY: Right click the Steam game from the Steam Library menu and select Properties. Under the Local Files tab, select Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Once that completes, relaunch the game.
MAC APP STORE GAMES ONLY: Uninstall and reinstall the game
- Open Finder
- Select Applications
- Drag the app icon to the trash
- Empty Trash
- Restart your Mac and reinstall the game through the Purchased tab of your App Store app.
(macOS 10.14) Restart your Mac and reinstall the game through your account menu.
