Q: What are the technical requirements?

A: Your machine needs to meet ALL of the minimum system requirements below in order to maximize your TORN VR experience.

Windows PC

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU Processor: Intel i5-4590 OR AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • CPU Speed: 3.3 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Hard Disk Space: 12 GB
  • Video Card (AMD): Radeon R9 480
  • Video Card (NVidia): GeForce GTX 1060
  • Video Memory (VRam): 4 GB

Notice: Oculus or Vive VR hardware is required to experience Torn VR on Steam.

Keyboard and mouse controls are not supported.

Q: What languages are supported on release?

A: Text and Audio are ENGLISH ONLY.  NO subtitles are available in game.

Menu text is localized in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean.

Q: Are Windows Mixed Reality headsets supported?

A: These are not officially supported in Torn.


Q: What’s the cost of the game?

A: You’ll be able to pick it up from Steam, Oculus and PS4, for $29.99 USD with regional pricing adjustments.

Q: Is the soundtrack available for purchase?

A: Yes! However, it’s exclusive to the Steam version.



Q: Can I use keyboard/mouse or PS4 controller to play Torn?

A: Since Torn is developed specifically for VR, two PlayStation Move controllers are required in order to play it. Keyboard/mouse or PS4 controllers will not work in Torn.

Q: Is Smooth Turning an option?

A: The game uses Snap Turning. We're looking into options for smooth turning but it isn't available at this time.

Q: Is there anything I can do to avoid motion sickness commonly associated with VR?

A: Yes! Within the main menu, you can adjust Locomotion settings to minimize movement within the game.

Q: What locomotion options are there?

A: Walk, dash and blink.

Q: How long is the game?

A: It depends on your playstyle, but it should take between 5-7 hours to complete.
