**Updated 5/25/21**
This issue has been fixed in a patch released on May 19th, 2021. You can read the full patch details below:
The new MondayVision Patch gives you the option to remove the green zomb-o-vision filter, giving you a chance to experience Punchbowl in living color. The team has also thrown some bug fixes into this update that should resolve any memory leaks and controller issues.
If you’re wondering why things look a bit brighter when you launch the game, MondayVision is toggled on by default. For that classic Stubbs feel, open up your options menu, navigate to Video Options, and adjust the settings to your heart’s content.

Original post:
If you are unable to get past the "Press Any Button to Start" screen when playing Stubbs the Zombie on Xbox, it may be due to a bug with Xbox Elite controllers.
You can work around this issue by doing the following:
- Turn off the Elite controller
- Plug your Elite controller into the Xbox via USB
- Turn on the controller.
After doing these steps, your controller should be able to get past the "Press any button to start" screen and play the game, wired or wireless.
