General
Q: What versions of Android OS are supported?
A: Android 9 or newer is required to run Civilization VI.
Q: What languages are supported for the Android version of Civilization VI?
A: The following languages are supported:
English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese (text-only)
Q: Is my device supported?
A: Devices must have at least 4 GB of memory and support Vulkan. For questions about a specific device, please reach out to us here and we'll help you out.
In-App Purchases
Q: I already own Civilization VI on another platform. Can I transfer my purchases to the Android version?
A: Purchases on other platforms (iOS, PC, Consoles) are not transferable to the Android version.
Q: What content is available at launch?
A: The Android version of Civilization VI is a free download and you can play 60 turns for FREE! You can unlock the full base game and all currently released add-ons/expansions up to the Gathering Storm expansion via In-App Purchases.

Q: Is New Frontier Pass content available on Android?
A: At this time, New Frontier Pass will not be coming to Android devices. We will continue to support the existing Android version of Civilization VI and evaluate potential future opportunities, but there are no planned content updates for Android.
Online Functionality
Q: What game modes are available in the Android version?
A: The Android version of Civilization VI has Single player, Local multiplayer (up to 4 players), and hotseat (up to 6 players on the same device).
Q: Does the mobile version have multiplayer?
A: The Android version of Civilization VI has Local Multiplayer and Play by Cloud. Online multiplayer is not available on the mobile versions.
Q: Can Android players crossplay with iOS players?
A: The Android and iOS versions are not currently in sync and local multiplayer will not be available at this time.
Q: Are My2K Cloud saves available on Android?
A: Yes, you can transfer saves between Android devices through your My2K account. However currently the Android version is not in-sync with other versions of Civilization VI. While you'll be able to transfer saves to other non-android devices, saves made on those devices cannot be transferred to Android.
