When a game isn’t working, one of our recommended troubleshooting steps is to reinstall it completely. A single corrupt file is enough to make the game crash, break, or otherwise cause issues. Please be aware that this method will remove your saves from most of our games.
To uninstall a game purchased on the Mac App Store, follow these steps:
- Launch the App Store
- Click your Account Profile in the bottom left of the App Store
- Make sure that you’re logged into the Account that you made your game purchase on.
- Find your game in your list of purchases.
- Hover your mouse over the game and select the "..." button.
- Select "Delete App...", then select "Delete App" again when prompted.
Then to reinstall a game purchased on the Mac App Store, follow these steps:
- Launch the App Store
- Click your Account Profile in the bottom left of the App Store
- Make sure that you’re logged into the Account that you made your game purchase on.
- Scroll to your game, and click the Download icon
