After further investigating, we’ve found this only occurs on certain devices that do not meet the minimum requirements for Civilization VI. Please make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements:
- Operating System: macOS 10.14.6 (Mojave) or newer
- CPU Processor: Intel Core i5 (4 cores required)
- CPU Speed: 2.7 GHz (Minimum)
- Memory: 6 GB
- Hard Disk Space: 15 GB
- Video Card (ATI): Radeon HD 6970
- Video Card (NVIDIA): GeForce 775M
- Video Card (Intel): Iris Pro
- Video Memory (VRam): 1 GB

Important Civilization VI Leader Pass Update --> Leader Pass Update - Civilization VI Mac and iOS
We've received reports of graphical glitching and corruption in-game, with black lines displaying in the world map after various amounts of turns or a short time while playing. Our team is currently investigating the cause of this issue.
